The Spirit is always speaking to us, sometimes in small and subtle ways, sometimes in ways that are so obvious it seems hard to miss. If we are not getting the messages, then most likely we are not listening.
For example, if there is an issue you are struggling with and you hear a song, or see a movie that speaks directly to that point then the answer would seem pretty obvious. But more often than not, most of us choose not to listen to the message presented because it does not tell us what we want to hear. This is where we begin to have problems. The Spirit will keep telling what you need to hear, not what you want to hear until you learn what you are here to learn.
Here, in The Den, The Spirit has been speaking very clearly. While 2019 has not started out as brutally as 2018 did, it hasn’t been quiet either. For example, yesterday my husband found an amazing video on YouTube, and shared it with me. It was a short video, but it spoke so deeply and so amazingly to our beliefs about what is happening in our world (both Spiritually and physically) that we both cried, and shared a deep moment of connection together. Last night, I was struggling with an area of concern, and turned on a movie just so I could relax for awhile. I cried at the end of the movie, because it spoke so specifically to the issue that I’m trying to deal with.
One of the things that I am experiencing through all of this is that, slowly, as I absorb the information my creative drive is changing. When I was younger, in my teens and 20’s, my creative drive came from frustration, anger, depression. In my 30’s, certain things happened in my life that completely froze my creative drive, and until recently, I’ve struggled to even find a way to create in any form. Now, as I’m beginning to act on the messages that I am receiving, and I am beginning to heal some of my deepest and oldest pain, I am finding that through that healing is where my creativity is now starting to reside. I am finding that the more I heal, the more creative I become.
Getting messages from the Spirit isn’t about hearing what you want to hear. The Spirit is not going to tell you what you want to hear to match the ideas that have been programmed into your thinking processes. The Spirit is going to tell you what you need to hear to overcome them. This is how we are going to heal ourselves, and this is how we are going to heal the world.
