Wow! So many things have happened since the last time I got something posted here. Part of me wants to feel bad for not having gotten anything added to the site as far as a blog, but we have been so busy here, and so much has happened, I’m having a hard time keeping up. Every time I would sit down to write a post, something would come up and I’d have to stop writing! The good news is, I have time write at the moment, and over the next few days (I hope) I’ll be able to get to the ones I was trying to write before.
Sometimes, things happen, and we feel like things in our lives may be hopeless and out of control. Things don’t feel right, and we don’t know which way to turn. Sometimes it seems that the only way forward is a small step in a direction which logically doesn’t seem like it will lead anywhere. Those are the moments where faith and hope are the only things we have, and it seems like those are not enough.
There’s an old adage, “The darkest hour is just before dawn,” and it is in these situations where it is the most true. When life seems hopeless, that’s when the greatest miracles, the greatest change happen. And those changes will happen, whether we want them to or not. If we were in a situation that we loved, and it’s taken away from us, these are the moments to recognize that maybe the change that is occurring is to give us an new opportunity, a better opportunity, and perhaps one that may open up the greatest chance in our life. It may be the change that is needed to live your dreams, and all you need to do is reach out and take the chance.
Change can be terrifying, and takings risks often seems like the most unsafe thing to do. But risk and change is also how we make our greatest advancements, our greatest achievements, both as individuals and as a society. When change comes your way, take the chance and accept the risk. Find your greatest achievement and make it happen.
