A common misconception for healing is that we do a big healing, then it’s all better. Not so. Real healing is a little bit here, a little bit there. It’s a lifetime process. Some days it’s good, some days, not so much.
Today is a good day. Today is a perfect example (so far) of healing. In fact, this week has been good. There’s a lot of creativity is my healing. I played my bass , really played, for the first time in a couple of years, the other day. I’ve gone back to writing, just a little bit, but it’s enough to build on.
I can feel my peace coming back. The kind of peace that I haven’t felt in a long time. It’s the kind of peace that comes with feeling connected to Spirit, when a Warrior knows that life is progressing as it should.
I mentioned in a post not long ago about having a few goals that we are working towards this year. I am happy to say that we have completed two of them so far, both of them were shows we wanted see: our favorite comedian, Jimmy Dore, and, what is probably my favorite band, Queensryche! I have to say that not only did we have a great time, but they were both very healing nights for us as well.
We have another goal in process right now, which should be completed in the very near future (it’s part of what got me back to playing music again!)
In a month, I have another goal that I’ll be attaining: my daughter and I will be going back to one of the most healing locations that she and I know and spending a few days soaking up the energy there. We have a few creative mom/daughter goals in mind that we will be working on together, and I’ll have some new prints up shortly after that as well!
The big goal, however, is for an EPIC adventure for next year! As a kid, I went to a place of such beauty and healing that it has stuck with me ever since. This place is so beautiful that it is world renowned! Next year I am planning on going back, so updates on that will be coming as things progress. Until then, keep your eyes open for updates on this one!
Lastly, as you know, I have been working at the local wedding chapel for many years now, and while changes have been planned, the last few years happened, and now we are at the stage where we were before everything was upended. Now, we’ve had to shift some of how those plans were going to happen, and I will be building their site on mine, which will make it much easier for both of us to be found! Recently, I was also contacted by someone who I had met some time ago regarding her site, and weddings, and we are now working together on building her event space as well!
So things are looking up again, and the energy is moving forward at an amazing rate! As always, I have a ton of things that I want to talk about, and I’m getting there. The momentum is building and I am not stopping I may take a break here and there, because it’s always “A little here, a little there”, but I am not stopping!!
