Greetings, Warriors! And welcome back to the Den. Having a day with little requirements (rare in my world) gave me a chance to have a moment of reflection. As I was sitting in my office contemplating, partly wondering what to write, or if I even should, I realized I had the perfect subject for the moment.
I have a busy life. Most of us do. Perhaps it’s less busy than we want to believe, perhaps it’s busier than we think. But I think most of us would agree, the propagandized idea of an easy life, with more than enough free time to spare is not only not a reality, but highly unrealistic.
Often, when we have a few minutes of downtime, we also have a million thoughts, ideas, problems, etc. creating stress, if only for the sake of stress. To give you an idea of what I’m talking about, here’s an example of mine: I grew up in a family where there was no such thing as privacy or personal space. Doors to my bedroom, or even the bathroom meant nothing. So when I have some downtime, and it’s the perfect, quiet, peaceful moment, my head is telling me that someone is going to walk in any second, thereby creating stress and ruining my perfect moment!
This morning, like most mornings, no one walked in. There was no stress, and no chance of stress. This morning, I was able to enjoy the moment of peace and bliss. And it was in that moment of bliss that I found that I wanted to write about that moment. To share it with all of you. And that was the greatest moment of all.
Blessed Be.
