Ok, stop. Let me check everything…. Ok. Seems I have a few minutes here. Sounds drastic, doesn’t it? It’s not much of a joke, things around here have been shifting and changing so fast I haven’t been able to take a break. I sit down and try to write, then I’m up and off to deal with something again.
I think the last thing I wrote about was restarting my writing. I have taken on a client, and while it’s not going as fast as I would like, I’m getting there (the ad said “write articles”, what I’m doing is paid product reviews – took some time to adjust). Since we are also avid juicers, for a time, we were working on a juicing service with some people we knew. However, that will likely be going by the wayside as a new change is about to take place. But more on that later.
There’s been other things going on too. We’ve also made a couple of quick out of town trips, and I am happy to say that on one of them, I was able to get some pictures that I’ve been wanting to get for years, and have been planning on using them for a couple of different projects here. I’ve been so busy I haven’t even gotten them off my phone yet! Our kids have jumped in with a couple of big announcements so we’ve had some excitement there. Our intention is to have a bigger post about some of this in the near future, and it’s something I’m really excited about. It’s one of the original ideas that we had for the blog, and one of the biggest. I have to say that I am a very happy, and very proud mom right now.
We’ve also dealt with sick dogs, I’ve still been doing weddings and we’ve been trying to get back into shape again. We’ve started walking again, and getting back on the elliptical. We’ve just started to try to add in the yoga again too. Two-and-a-half months, and I haven’t had any time off. In fact I think I might have been busier than when I was working!
With everything that’s been going on, some of what I had been planning on doing for the site has been put on hold. However, what with some of the big discussions, and my next change, I think that’s about to change. And while I would love to stay at home, get the house completely fixed up and spend all my time writing, none of that can happen unless I have income. So, my big announcement for today and my next big change is that starting Monday I will be starting a new job. It will definitely be able to help support our projects here, and get us off the ground. Plus, if the schedule is as I was told, it should give me a much more stable schedule to work around.
Things have been shifting so fast around here, it’s been hard to focus. So many times I’ve wanted to sit down to write. Now, I’m back. I’m feeling a little less than the world is trying to throw me off. And a little more connected now that I’m writing for me again.
