Happy New Year to everyone! Last year was a particularly difficult losses and lots of changes. I’m happy to say that we’ve made it through and things are getting better. I hope the same for all of you.
The new job is going well. Retail is difficult enough and this time of year it’s always busy. Three months in, and I’m still enjoying what I am doing. What I like the most though, since the store is in a very low income neighborhood, is that I have the opportunity to help those who need it the most. That’s a blessing I didn’t expect, and I am very grateful for.
Things are very busy at home as well. Some of the projects I had been working on have been on hold (again), but I am very happy to say that I have been working on new pages, and a couple of videos are in process. More details on those soon!
A little over a year into the blog and I’m grateful to be able to say that this is a project that is allowing me to examine fully who I am, the good and the bad. It’s also a project that I haven’t given up on. While I don’t always do what I would like to do as often as I want, I haven’t given up. I’m using my delays to find new ways of healing, which is part of what I wanted when I first started the blog.
In the meantime, we have some things that we are trying to finalize here at home. More details later, but it has been a major delay that we didn’t need. It looks as though it may be winding down, so between some of the changes I have been able to make already and getting this issue fixed I should have more time available. Some of the changes I am thinking about for here are rather time-consuming so getting rid of the extraneous garbage is a big plus that is already in the works.
For all of you, I hope you had a blessed holiday season, and have a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. Blessed Be and let’s make 2019 a great year!
