Seeing the Blessings

I know it has been quite some time since the last time I wrote anything.  I’ve been working what seems like almost non-stop.  And it’s not far from the truth.  I’ve only really had one day off since then, as I’ve been training or my new position, and I officially took that position at my permanent location today, though I am also still officially in training through the end of this week.

I am very pleased to say that this position is not at all like the last one, for which I am very grateful.  My stress levels have diminished, and so far, every single person I have met has been amazing.  This is not to say that there will never be issues, but so far my experience has been that this is a group of people that want to help each other.  It is good to know that there are still people and places like this in the world.

The new job is also much more physically demanding, and we are continuing to add in new physical exercise in our daily lives as well.  Now that the weather has cooled off it is much easier to get out for a walk and enjoy the watching the crops grow in the fields around us.

Sometimes in our world, change never seems to happen.  Sometimes it happens in an instant.  This last month has been a whirlwind of change, and so far the changes have been positive.  There also seems to be more potential for the future since we’ve been on this path, and that feels good too.  In the meantime, we’re enjoying the present moments, and enjoying new challenges.  With any luck, I’ll be writing again very soon, and finally getting some new content added too.
