The Spirit of Christmas

Today I want to dedicate my post to those who cannot be with their families and loved ones today.  This post is for those working in medical facilities, emergency services, call centers, stores, military, etc.  But this post is also dedicated to those who may have the day off, but can’t be with their loved ones due to family drama or conflict.

At this time of year, we always focus on the Spirit of Giving in the materialistic sense (think presents).  But rarely do we think about the real Spirit of Giving. I’m talking about those who give their time.  So many people selflessly give up their family time today so that others can spend time with their loved ones.

There are also those who truly want to spend the day with their loved ones, but cannot due to internal family conflicts.  My  heart is with you today.  You are not alone, you are loved, and you are worth it.

Today, for those that can, enjoy the time with your loved ones.  They are special to you.  Don’t lose that.  Love is the most precious gift anyone can receive.

To everyone, whether those you cherish are near or far, whether you are working, or home, whatever you celebrate, or even if you don’t, let the miracle of the Spirit shine through. Celebrate the Love, and regardless of how you say it, ….  “and to all a good night.”
