Depression sucks. So does mania. And in my world, they both look like pure function, with very little else. But I have learned that it doesn’t have to be this way. It is possible to change your thoughts, and thereby change your life. Depression is ruled by thoughts. Mania is pure body reaction (or at least that’s what happens with me). It might be hard, especially starting out. But I can rule my thoughts and reactions. They do not rule me.
