DenGood afternoon, Warriors! Yes, I am still here and thinking about all of you. Once again, when I started this site, I never expected to take a break anywhere near as long as what I just did. However, I think, and I hope you will too, that the wait will be worth it.
No, I am still not back to work, and I am still working on things on the homefront, the physical “Den”. That has been a major focus of mine, but as always, I am always thinking about what I can write here.
The “plandemic” has changed all of our lives. What we do with these changes is up to us. After much thought, and speaking with my husband, I have come to a decision about what to do. I have always wanted to do something creative, and since I have so many interests and things I do, I have always wanted to put them to good use. However, being Spiritual and trying to follow the Spiritual Laws and practices to the best that I understand them has often left me in a quandary as to how best to do that. I know that I have been talking about changes here for a long time, and this is where one of my sticking points has been.
I have never been willing to purchase a list of names to mass email, nor have I ever wanted this site to be a mass of obnoxious ads. And having looked, at many many different sites of different types over the years, I know it’s difficult (to say the least) to find a site that conforms to those standards. However, being without a form of income, I also need to find a way to do something. I have, over the years, tried a few different things. I do have a Fiverr account, my Upwork account and I’ve also got a YouTube account that I had started working on, as well as looking into sites like Etsy. But with the recent events as far as censorship (many of you who have been with me for any length of time know how I feel about that) issues that have been going on with many platforms made anything outside of my immediate control an impossibility.
Since the beginning, I have always said that I wanted this page to be “organic”. Real. That’s one of the reasons I can go for so long without posting. I don’t necessarily like it, but being real also means that things like this are going to occur. So the biggest change I am making with this site begins now. I am bringing everything here. All of the crafts: my photographs, my art and renderings, the crochet (eventually). It will all be controlled on this page!
Over the next few weeks, you will see many changes here. The design will be new, pages will be changed, products will be added. But I think the change I am most excited about is the one that brings the biggest news in and of itself. It also conforms to the Spiritual Laws closer than anything else I know. The biggest change that the current events have brought, is that my long-term writer’s block is gone! And I am now bringing that joy and talent to you! Many of my early followers will remember my a novel (rather a trilogy) of novels I was working on. I am back to working on them and part of my time away has been spent modernizing and updating to include current events!!! And, as is true form for me, I am using an old idea for new purposes.
Many years ago, in the early days of social media, I had a couple of LiveJournal accounts. One of them was specific for my writing. Many of the changes I will be making to the page is to convert some of the pages to stories I am writing. I am not going to publish them anywhere else, and I am not going to change for the stories. My writing is a gift from the Spirit. I cannot charge for it. I will however, have a link if you choose to offer a donation because you like my work.
I will still be writing blogs and posts just as I have in the past, but now the Spirit has provided me with the way to share more of what I do with all of you. For this, I am truly grateful. Thank you to all of you for your patience!
