If we are on our Path, and learning the deeper mysteries of the Spiritual Laws, then we may be familiar with following Synchronicities. For those who may be unfamiliar with that concept, they are often more commonly known as coincidences. We may be thinking about a person, or have a desire for something, and it comes along unexpectedly, but often right when we need it. In other words, in the Spirit’s time.
This is what has been coming up recently. Not the concept of synchronicity, but more so, things occurring in the Spirit’s time. We might say, in the right time and in the right place, but it comes down to the same thing. No matter how much we want something, or how much we set our intent for a desire to manifest, it will not happen until the Spirit provides for it.
This is where we as mere mortals must develop patience. We all have likely heard the saying, “Patience is a virtue”, and yes, it is. You see, the more demanding we are over getting what we want, in my experience, the more God will have us wait. All things will happen in the Spirit’s time, not ours. A simple example of this would be the adage, “a watched pot never boils”, and that is part of it. The more impatient we are, the more it seems like what we want never arrives. But the other side of it is that the more often we demand, beg, plead, etc, the more impediments we ourselves are putting in the way of getting what we want. We are creating our own roadblocks simply because we aren’t getting our way, in our time. We’re not letting Spirit take care of us.
So the next time you have a need or desire, and you ask the Spirit for help or guidance, be patient. God is good, even great. But when we decide we know what’s best for us, and want what we want NOW, we are declaring that we know better than Source. We are a tiny, miniscule creature taking up space for a brief cosmic moment on this little planet in the whole wide universe. When we can stop ourselves for just a brief moment and realize that what we want is a small thing in the grand scope of that universe that is billions of years old and larger than our minds can conceive, waiting patiently for the Spirit’s gifts seems like a small thing.
